LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Debt creation not government’s right
Judge Andrew Napolitano is spot-on in "Biden's unconstitutional debt burdens future generations" (Web, April 28). He writes about the national debt soaring to an astounding $28.2 trillion. That essentially means that every citizen, on the day he or she is born, has a debt of $85,400. Published April 29, 2021
EDITORIAL: Joe Biden proposes tax folly
President Biden's proposed programs to tax, spend and regulate the economy, small business, our educational institutions, the health care system and other important parts of life here in America that the economists in the hip pocket of the progressive movement applaud. Published April 28, 2021
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: COVID-19 advice conflicting, confusing
The science of masking Joe Biden is attractive and humorous, especially when the president wears a mask in the Oval Office along with his visitors, all of whom have been vaccinated and none of whom have symptoms of COVID-19. Published April 28, 2021
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Joe Biden is the real racist
President Biden and his shameful minions have yarded up together like a pack of wolves to spew their ignorant opinion that the U.S. is a racist country. Published April 28, 2021
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Let Taiwan into World Health Assembly
The WHA74 will take place virtually from May 24 to June 1 of this year and is attended by delegations from more than 194 member states. It is regrettable that Taiwan is barred. Published April 28, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Climate change will keep costing us
According to Michael McKenna, with severe blackouts and a global pandemic American voters are not worried about global warming, but are instead worried about maintaining affordable energy ("Voters care about affordable energy, not climate change," Web, April 24). What Mr. McKenna fails to recognize is that global pandemics and the extreme weather events that cause energy failures are directly related to climate change. Published April 27, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Eliminating IRS would solve problems
The way I see it, we have four major problems in the U.S., and solving the first three requires the abolition of the fourth: crony capitalism (nepotism), government corruption, government collusion with crime organizations, and unfair and illegal taxation (the Internal Revenue Servcice). Published April 27, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Elites cash in on dividing us
The United States is not a systemically racist country. It is a systemically elitist country. We are influenced and led by elitists: corrupt politicians who claim to know what's best for us, wealthy celebrities who tell us how things are, overpayed professional athletes destroying our love of the games, colleges graduating socialist teachers, teachers who want to change history, a media that no longer reports the truth, and more. Published April 27, 2021
EDITORIAL: An Arizona county braves a recount
Just because the 2020 presidential election results were fraught with suspicious irregularities doesn't mean the next one needs to be. Published April 27, 2021
EDITORIAL: China doubles down on dangerous bioscience
Apologies are scarce these days and, evidently, China can't spare one for its role in unleashing the coronavirus pandemic upon the world. Published April 26, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Young people hit hardest by pandemic
All the press and politicians want to talk about when it comes to COVID-19 are numbers: cases, deaths and vaccinations. Nowhere in the discussion is the effect it is having on our young people, particularly those in their teens and early 20s, who are venturing into the adult world. Published April 26, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Why not ivermectin?
In America about 30% of the public, 40% of Marines and 48% of Congress are refusing the COVID-19 jab. Mike Yeadon, former Pfizer vice president and science adviser, and Sherri Tenpenny are two of many medical experts who claim that these vaccines can generate spike proteins that alter people's DNA and affect their immune systems. This, they believe, is going to result in various illnesses and deaths over the next year or two. The journal Microbiology & Infectious Diseases recently reported that the vaccines could cause Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig's disease, among other ailments. Published April 26, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: No slavery support in founding documents
President Biden's U.N. ambassador, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, recently said, "I have seen for myself how the original sin of slavery weaved White supremacy into our founding documents and principles" ("Biden U.N. ambassador blasts U.S., rips 'White supremacy' within 'founding documents and principles,'" Web, April 14). Now that was a truly disgraceful statement. Published April 26, 2021
EDITORIAL: Overcriminalizing the use of natural resources could leave humanity powerless
A pristine planet is prized in the 21st century, and human activity that uncaringly defiles the environment is roundly condemned. Published April 25, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Uncover Fauci aid in COVID-19 spread
Since the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Anthony Fauci have, like the Chinese Communist Party, dismissed the idea that the virus was started by a lab leak ("Republicans offer COVID-19 Origin Act over concerns about possible link between pandemic, Wuhan lab," Web, April 22). Here's why we can't trust NIH to investigate on its own: Published April 25, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Race relations in U.S. still a mess
I thought once the guilty verdict was handed down in the Derek Chauvin case race relations would become simpatico. However, right after the celebratory news reports, a video surfaced which showed Black Lives Matter members taunting patrons at a restaurant with what I would call racist ridicule. Published April 25, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Cooley show trial will cost taxpayers
The Maj. Gen. William T. Cooley story is more than what has been reported in the press ("Air Force general faces sexual assault charge in rare court-martial," Web, April 22). Gen. Cooley and his family have known for decades the woman he is alleged to have assaulted. She and her husband were family friends of the Cooleys and Gen. Cooley's parents. On the night of the alleged incident in August 2018, Gen. Cooley was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, visiting his parents. Published April 25, 2021
EDITORIAL: Court-packing is far worse than just a ‘bonehead idea’
In the most memorable — albeit apocryphal — quote of the Vietnam War, it was said of U.S. troops in the 1968 Battle of Ben Tre against the Viet Cong, "We had to destroy the village in order to save it." Published April 22, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Congress lacks power to make D.C. state
The House of Representatives is moving to admit most of the District of Columbia as a state. This is a clearly unconstitutional act. Published April 22, 2021
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: NFU policy will weaken U.S.
Two recent Washington Times articles highlight the national security problems facing the current administration: Patty-Jane Geller's "Using defense funds to reduce the role of nuclear weapons irresponsible" (Web, April 21) and Bill Gertz's "No first use policy rejected" ("Inside the Ring," World, April 22).
