Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC fame said during a recent television sit-down with a couple guests that calling the likes of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a socialist was patently untrue -- that it was simply "opposition research" garbage from conservatives and Republicans and President Donald Trump's supporters and base. Ted Cruz, Bill Cassidy take on ‘terrorist organization’ antifa
Sens. Ted Cruz and Bill Cassidy introduced a resolution to formally label antifa a domestic terrorist organization and saying, in follow-up written remarks, that the group "must be stopped," that its members are fascists "protected by liberal privilege," and that it's high time elected officials stepped in and did something. Christopher Smith added an amendment to a defense bill ordering the Pentagon to admit whether it experimented with ticks for biological weaponry, and if those experiments contributed to the massive Lyme disease explosion. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar have managed to ball their socialist viewpoints into a cute and college-y sounding name, branding themselves the cute-sounding "squad." Boston is being sued over barring a group, Camp Constitution, from flying its Christian flag as part of the city's recent Constitution Day celebrations. Think about that for a moment. Wasn't Boston at the forefront of Americans' fight for independence from Britain -- a fight that was based largely on the quest for religious freedom? For specifically, Christian religious freedom? Between 2008 and 2018, the level of religious "nones" in the United States -- those absorbing to no particular belief in a higher power-- has risen from just more than 22% to nearly 30%.
