“Married … With Children” actress Christina Applegate has been in a Los Angeles hospital since last month as she deals with multiple sclerosis, according to TMZ.
Unnamed “sources with direct knowledge” told TMZ that Ms. Applegate was admitted to the hospital in late March. The actress revealed in 2021 that she has the nerve disease.
A representative for Ms. Applegate told the New York Post’s Page Six, “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about.”
Ms. Applegate was hospitalized for a week last August to receive treatment for a kidney infection, according to USA Today.
Ms. Applegate, 54, touched on her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in her memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes,” which was released this year. She also hosts a podcast called “MeSsy” with fellow actress and multiple sclerosis patient Jamie-Lynn Sigler, in which both women discuss their battle with the condition, The Associated Press said.
