Missouri state prosecutors have dropped their criminal case against the Republican governor. Gov. Eric Greitens had been accused of invasion of privacy for taking a nude picture of the woman with whom he'd been having an affair. Published May 14, 2018

Chuck Knox dies at 86

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ canceled by Fox

The zany cop comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" had to turn in its badge to Fox. The network announced Thursday that it was cancelling the show, which stars Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher, after five seasons, although the show apparently has a good shot at turning up elsewhere. Published May 10, 2018

Rafael Palmeiro signs with Cleburne Railroaders

The 54-year-old slugger, who spent most of his major-league career with the Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles, has signed a new contract with an independent minor-league club, the Cleburne Railroaders.
