Claire McCaskill used private plane during RV ‘road trip’

In a report Tuesday, the Washington Free Beacon determined that the private plane of Sen. Claire McCaskill, Missouri Democrat, took the same routes as her much-touted "Big Blue" RV for a May 29-31 tour by "Veterans for Claire" in the week following Memorial Day. Mrs. McCaskill said then that she was "very excited to hit the road." Published June 12, 2018

Mariah Parker takes oath of office on ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X’

One of the new council members in one of Georgia's biggest cities picked Malcolm X over the Bible for her swearing-in. Mariah Parker was sworn in this week to represent District 2 on the Athens-Clarke County Commission and refused to take her oath of office on the Bible, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
