Republican Gov. Mike DeWine signed a bill into law that bars boys pretending to be girls from using bathrooms and changing rooms in public schools and universities in Ohio, and instead forces them to use the facilities that correspond with their birth sex. That's good. That's a step. But it's only a step.

Special counsel Jack Smith filed to drop all four of the felonies he charged at Presdent-elect Donald Trump for the crime of telling the American people on Jan. 6, 2021, to peacefully protest, err, oops, to violently storm the U.S. Capitol and incite a riot. When asked why, he said with tears in his eyes, "The plan failed. Trump won." Not really. But it could happen.

Nancy Mace has launched a crusade against men pretending to be women and entering female bathrooms at the Capitol -- a campaign that's received the thumbs-up of Speaker Mike Johnson and one she now wants to see go nationwide in all federal buildings. As it should. And it should. And then some.

Rep. Elise Stefanik has vowed in her new role as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations to take on the global entity that she describes as a "den of antisemitism" and an "apologist for Iran." The numbers are trickling in, and between the presidential elections of 2020 and 2024, President-elect Donald Trump saw dramatic increases in support at the ballot boxes from Hispanics, youth and Black people -- traditionally all voters who stick with Democrats. A couple of Democrats who previously supported the right of boys to pretend to be girls and play in female sports are now suddenly singing a different tune, reversing course and claiming boys shouldn't be allowed to pretend to be girls after all. This is what comes of Donald Trump's reelection.

Transgender tricks Christian school, plays victim, then sues

A man pretending to be a woman has filed a lawsuit against Liberty University in Virginia claiming the Christian school violated his civil rights by firing him after he disclosed he was not a woman, as he had originally presented, but rather a man. In other words: He purposely tricked Liberty so he could sue.
