Libyan man accused of murder, rape, and torture appears at the ICC

A Libyan man accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes at a Tripoli prison appeared before judges at the International Criminal Court on Wednesday, sitting impassively as a court official read out charges including murder, rape and torture.

What North Korea has learned fighting for Putin in Ukraine

In August, North Korean state media released photos of Kim Jong-un bowing before the portraits of soldiers killed in Ukraine, hugging grieving families and pinning medals on returning troops. In a rare display of public mourning, the North Korean leader described the fallen as "great heroes" and "martyrs," his "heart aching" at their loss.

Weaponized weather emerges as new hybrid warfare tool

U.K. government welcomes sharp fall in net migration but says more needs to be done

The British government welcomed the news Thursday that net migration in the U.K., the difference between those moving to the country long-term and those leaving, fell by more than two-thirds in the year to June, but insisted that the figure must fall further in order to ease tensions within communities.
