Skagit Valley College is a two-year community college serving Skagit, Island, and San Juan counties in northwest Washington state. Established in 1926, SVC grants academic transfer degrees, technical degrees, and certificates. The academic transfer degree and several professional/technical degrees can be completed entirely online. Many SVC individual courses in over 20 disciplines are also available online. It is known throughout many English-speaking countries for its offering of learning communities. Courses are offered during Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. The SVC district includes two campuses and two centers. The Mount Vernon Campus, SVC’s main campus, is located in Mount Vernon, Washington, and the Whidbey Island Campus is located in Oak Harbor, Washington. The South Whidbey Center is located in Clinton, Washington, and the San Juan Center is located in Friday Harbor.
