The Mk-47 "Mutant" — a fusion between the AR-15 and AK-47 rifles — was recently unveiled by a U.S. gun maker at the annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas. The "Mutant" weighs just over 7 pounds, has a 16.1-inch barrel, and a bolt carrier group derived from the .308-caliber AR-10. CMMG Inc. has already shipped 500 rifles to customers, with its base model selling for roughly $1,500.

Brad Pitt - When Brad Pitt showed up in tabloid photos with a collection of lines drawn on his back, conspiracy theorists speculated that the ink could be anything from the New Orleans levee system to architectural drawings. As it turns out, then-girlfriend Angelina Jolie drew the design on Pitt’s back one night while the two were attending the World Economic Forum. He liked the doodle so much that he decided to make it permanent.

Shooters World, located in Tampa, Florida, is home to the largest indoor shooting range in the sunshine state. Patrons in groups of at least two can rent firearms, and all customers and members are welcome to bring their own guns to use at Shooters World. The facility also contains a retail showroom that features specialty hunting rifles and shotguns, tactical weapons and self-defense firearms for purchase. Separating Shooters World from the rest of the pack is its indoor reactive steel range with a large assortment of steel targets to choose from.
