California grants driver’s licenses to 1 million illegal immigrants

California has granted driver's licenses to more than a million illegal immigrants, the state reported Wednesday. The California Department of Motor Vehicles said that, since a law signed by Gov. Jerry Brown took effect at the start of 2015, it had granted 1,001,000 licenses to foreign citizens who can prove they reside in California. Published April 4, 2018

Juli Briskman, the woman who won her 15 minutes of fame last fall by flipping the bird at President Trump's motorcade, is now suing the company that fired her. Ms. Briskman filed her case in state court Wednesday accusing Herndon-based Akima of breaking a Virginia law that bars companies from firing someone because of fear of unlawful government retaliation. The Madison, Wisconsin Fox affiliate tweeted Monday that it did not run a Sinclair Broadcast Group promotional announcement warning about "fake news." Laura Ingraham backed by Fox News amid David Hogg advertiser boycott

In a statement Monday evening, Fox News said it would not knuckle under to the campaign against Laura Ingraham and her advertisers by David Hogg and other gun-control advocates. David Hogg-Laura Ingraham feud incites Russian bots, boosts #IStandWithLaura hashtag

The David Hogg-Laura Ingraham feud has reportedly attracted the attention of Russian bots on social media. The website Hamilton 68 reported that #IStandWithLaura, a hashtag protesting Mr. Hogg's efforts to drive the Fox News host off the air, was the top trending hashtag Saturday night among bots and accounts linked to Russian influence operations. "It's disturbing to know that somebody can bully so many people and just get away with it, especially to the level that she did," David Hogg told CNN.
