Reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul will not face domestic violence charges stemming from fights with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen in Utah, multiple news outlets report.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that multiple attorneys reviewed domestic violence claims submitted by Mr. Mortensen and determined that the incidents occurred more than three years, beyond the statute of limitations for prosecuting such offenses.

New charges against the star of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” would have violated her probation for a 2023 domestic violence conviction.

Ms. Paul, 31, pleaded guilty in 2024 to one count of aggravated assault for throwing chairs at Mr. Mortensen, one of which struck her 5-year-old daughter. She shares custody of her 2-year-old son with Mr. Mortensen.

Video of the 2023 incident prompted ABC last month to cancel the fully filmed season of “The Bachelorette” featuring Ms. Paul. Hulu also halted filming of season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
