This NOAA satellite image taken Monday, Jan 20, 2014 at 01:45 PM EST shows cloudiness stretched from New England through the Mid Atlantic and Ohio Valley associated with a cold front moving eastward across the region. Snow, potentially heavy across the Appalachain mountains, will fall as this front moves eastward. A low pressure system off the coast will create a chance of snow showers in the the mid-Atlantic states. Its associated cold front will produce isolated showers over the southern edge of Florida. The Pacific Northwest will see increasing clouds.
