It wasn’t part of the 35-page dossier posed on Jan. 10, 2017 by BuzzFeed. The referral extracts one highly redacted paragraph that refers to information going to Mr. Steele from an Obama State Department official and two Hillary Clinton associations. Mr. Steele’s full Oct. 19 memo remains classified by the FBI. In a previous letter, Mr. Grassley asked the Democratic National Committee to provide any communications it conducted with Clinton operatives Sid Blumenthal and Cody Shearer.
