The Sikh Coalition is a community-based organization that defends Sikh civil rights. It is a non-profit organization which was born in the aftermath of bigotry, violence and discrimination against the New York City’s Sikh population following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Coalition serves as a resource for all organizations and individuals as well as a point of contact for the Sikh people. The Coalition currently has a full-time staff of six and offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. It is the most-staffed Sikh organization in the history of the United States working to achieve peace in our communities. - Source: Wikipedia
