The Department of Justice released a report that found the previous Joe Biden administration had spent considerable time and energy, not to mention taxpayer dollars, investigating Christians for various high crimes and misdemeanors, such as standing strong on pro-life issues or daring, as a nun, to wear a habit. You know — the stuff that really tears at the fabric of a nation.

Oh, and that reminds: “Biden is America’s most prominent Catholic,” as NBC News reported in October of 2021.

Anyhow — from the Justice Department: “The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias published a report detailing how the Biden Administration’s prosecutions, policies and practices demonstrated anti-Christian bias throughout the federal government. … The 200-page report … touches on a broad array of federal policies and programs, including conscience rights, the Johnson Amendment, fines against Christian universities, girls’ sports, vaccine mandates, and the exclusion of Christians from public programs, among many others.”

And some of the examples of Team Biden’s merry assaults against Christianity include the president’s overall push to rid the policy world of protections for religious freedom; the Biden Justice Department’s rigorous look into local school board meetings to make sure parents knew their proper place in the raising of their children — that is, subservient to the school; and, of course, that old tymey favorite of the Biden White House — the mandate for federal agencies to adopt the leftist gender ideologies into their missions and operations, and thereby creating a sort of top-down governmental narrative that society must accept the idea boys can be girls and girls can be boys, and boys and girls can be some sort of third or fourth or even fifth new gender, simply by willing it and wearing different clothing.

The vaccine mandates were a whole new level of anti-Christian bias.

These were the years Biden pushed the experimental COVID shots into the arms of every man, woman, child and baby, over any and all objections and requests for exemptions — including, or maybe especially, those of a religious nature.

“The Biden Justice Department advised White House and senior leadership in a phone call that federal employees’ religious objections to the Covid vaccines were ‘insincere’ or ‘not religious,’” the Justice Department wrote.

The bias against Christians was widespread.

“Text messages released by the Senate Judiciary Committee show two former federal prosecutors discussing desires to prosecute nuns during investigations of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, EWTN News reported. “Joseph Cooney and Molly Gaston, career prosecutors at the Justice Department … played a role in prosecuting President Donald Trump during former president Joe Biden’s administration. Both were fired shortly after Trump became president a second time.”

Cooney and Gaston, in texts, communicated how nuns were captured in photographs on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6 standing near the Oathkeepers. Gaston wrote, “I would like to take a special assignment of finding and prosecuting them.” Cooney wrote, “I’m with you. Although I’d like tot prosecute any nun who still wears the head habit.”

Funny stuff.

Gaston, in fact, replied, “hahaha.”

Is this funny, too?

“Biden DOJ used abortion group ‘dossiers’ to monitor, prosecute Christians, DOJ report reveals,” Fox News wrote.

It doesn’t seem very American to target Christians for investigation, based on their Christian beliefs.

As Todd Blanche, chair of Justice’s task force and acting attorney general, said: “No American should live in fear that the federal government will punish them for their faith.”

No citizen in any country should have to live in fear of their government persecuting them for their faith.

It’s just that in America, the persecution of Christianity is all the more shocking — given our nation was founded by those who sought religious freedom and by those who made sure to include in our governing documents that God-given rights and liberties belong to all citizens at birth.

When Team Biden isolated for investigation and prosecution Christians, the attack was on more than a faith — it was an attack on an entire country; on American Exceptionalism; on the idea of individualism; and on the core concept of rights and liberties bestowed on the citizen by a Creator.

God — God of Judeo-Christian teaching — is in America’s DNA.
