The New York Genome Center (NYGC) is an independent, nonprofit genome sequencing center and consortium of medical and research centers based in New York City. Its consortium members include Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Columbia University, Cornell University/Weill Cornell Medical College, The Jackson Laboratory, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, New York University, North Shore LIJ, The Rockefeller University, and Stony Brook. NYGC's technology collaborators include Illumina, Life Technologies, Sabey, and GeneInsight. In addition to its founding members, NYGC receives support from pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science companies, city and state funds, and a variety of foundations and individual donors. - Source: Wikipedia
