STI EAGLE-The Eagle lead the way in STI’s development of the 2011. This gun was the first ever high capacity handgun featuring the tried and true John Browning 1911 design. The idea came about in 1993 when competition shooters wanted a gun that shot as good as their 1911, but had the capacity that action shooting demands, thus the Eagle was born. Today the gun has not changed much, it still features the modular 2011 frame and short dust cover for a lightweight gun that stays on target.
