Nicholas Turturro is a film, television and prolific on-stage character actor, perhaps best known for his role as Detective James Martinez on the television series NYPD Blue. His brother is John Turturro known for his roles in the films Do the Right Thing, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Quiz Show, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?. He has appeared in over sixty films, and has worked frequently with the Coen brothers, Adam Sandler and Spike Lee. An Emmy Award winner, Turturro has also been nominated for three Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe Award.

Dennis Quaids notable credits include Breaking Away, The Right Stuff, Wyatt Earp, The Rookie,The Day After Tomorrow, Traffic, Vantage Point, Footloose, Frequency, The Parent Trap, Yours, Mine & Ours and Soul Surfer. For his role in Far from Heaven he won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Online Film Critics Society Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male. His older brother Randy Quaid has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award, BAFTA Award and an Academy Award for his role inThe Last Detail. Quaid also won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy Award for his portrayal of U.S. President Lyndon Johnson in LBJ: The Early Years. He also received Emmy nominations for his roles in A Streetcar Named Desire and Elvis.
