Papa John’s ending NFL sponsorship

Papa John's is taking a knee on its NFL sponsorship. The pizza chain told reporters in a Tuesday briefing that it will cease sponsoring the league, ending the eight-year deal just months after its then-CEO blamed slumping sales on the NFL player protests of the national anthem. Lee Zeldin bill would revoke immigrant gang members’ citizenship

The bill by Rep. Lee Zeldin, New York Republican, is titled "Protecting our Communities from Gang Violence Act" and would revoke the naturalization of anyone who becomes involved in gang activity either 10 years before or 10 years after taking the U.S. citizenship oath. Published February 20, 2018
