Biden recognizes atrocities against Armenians as genocide

President Biden on Saturday called the killing of Armenians during World War I a genocide. In response to the declaration, Turkey's foreign ministry Saturday said Mr. Biden's statement was politically motivated and lacked any "scholarly and legal basis." Published April 24, 2021
