OPINION:
I have been voting Republican my entire adult life, but how can we win elections when seats at all levels of government go unchallenged? What’s our message? What issues, important to the general public, do we stand for and repeatedly explain in plain English?
Whatever the message is, it must explain why specific positions of the Democrats are not in the public interest (without the hysterics). Why hasn’t President Trump’s Justice Department brought to justice legislators who have lied under oath, defrauded or outright stolen taxpayer money, enriched themselves with insider trading or refused their sworn duty to support and defend the Constitution?
We demand action, not grandstanding or finger-pointing. We need a President Teddy Roosevelt-type of leadership in the Republican National Committee. Chairman Joe Gruters either needs to step up his game or go.
