Imagine it’s 1944, at the height of World War II, and a majority of congressional Democrats oppose aid to our allies Britain and the Free French. That’s what is going on with Senate Democrats and Israel today.

While NATO “allies” such as Spain won’t even let us use joint air bases, Israel is fighting shoulder to shoulder with the United States in a war to keep nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles out of the mullahs’ hands.

In two votes last week, the overwhelming majority of Democratic senators tried to block military aid to Israel. Of 47 Democratic senators, 40 voted to advance the motion of Sen. Bernard Sanders, Vermont independent, to block the sale of 1,000-pound bombs to Israel, and 36 supported a motion to keep Israel from buying bulldozers to clear out booby-trapped buildings in the Gaza Strip.

The Democratic Party is lashing out blindly against our Iran policy. Even America’s most reliable ally in the Middle East is fair game to impede the U.S. war effort.

Incumbent Democrats are terrified of going against the dominant woke wing of their party. A recent Pew Research poll showed that 8 in 10 Democratic voters have an unfavorable view of Israel.

Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has become the conscience of the Democratic Party. In a recent interview, the senator from the Keystone State said his party “absolutely” has a problem with rising levels of antisemitism. He pointed to two candidates: Graham Platner, running for the Democratic Senate nomination in Maine, and Abdul El-Sayed, seeking the Democratic Senate nod in Michigan.

Mr. El-Sayed says, “Israel is just as evil as Hamas.” He campaigns with influencer Hasan Piker, who once said the U.S. deserved 9/11.

Mr. Platner, who sports a Nazi tattoo he got in Croatia, has repeatedly praised Hamas and liked a 2014 video that showed the terrorists killing a group of Israeli soldiers.

If American Nazi Party founder George Lincoln Rockwell were alive, he probably would be running for the Senate as a Democrat.

The party of Presidents Truman, who made America the first nation to recognize the state of Israel in 1948, and Kennedy, who described Israel as “a shining light,” has become the party of Hasan Piker and Graham Platner.

The dustbin of history beckons Democrats, who should take care that they are not run over by an Israeli bulldozer on the way.
