Today’s media in all its many forms is probably the most powerful and influential it’s ever been. But that’s not necessarily a good thing.

As surveys show, Americans’ trust in media is low, and only growing lower, in part, because of journalists’ failures to properly do their jobs. But rather than just failing in their duties, the news is actually causing damage — to the people they cover; to the politicians they dislike; and more importantly, to truth.

As Marc Lotter, host on Newsmax TV says, it’s not that journalists are lazy or uninformed. It’s that they’re living in liberal bubbles.

“They are headquartered in liberal New York City and Washington, D.C.,” Lotter said.

Just look at how the media cover everything from the Abraham Accords to Eric Swalwell’s sexual allegations and it’s clear: there are different standards for different political entities. Democrats often get the most favorable treatment.
