OPINION:
The Democratic Party is the self-proclaimed defender of democracy and champion of voting rights, but ironically it continues to use Stalin-like tactics, including propaganda to destroy opposition candidates and the attempt at elimination of debate as part of the election process (“DNC’s Zoom nomination plans forge ahead amid talk of ditching Biden,” web, June 19).
Instead of striving to flush out and select the most inspiring and capable candidates, the Democratic power brokers are attempting to circumvent their party’s nominating process and use a virtual vote to lock in Biden-Harris before their convention in August.
How can they believe that keeping President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in power is in the best interest of our country? When you consider Mr. Biden’s disastrous domestic policies and Neville Chamberlain-like approach to foreign policy, how could continuing to prop him up make sense — unless the plan is to destroy our country or start the next world war? Let’s get real. Does anyone actually think Mr. Biden has the cognitive ability to lead our country?
The puppet masters are perfectly aligned with the extreme left’s playbook for making us part of a borderless, globalist, atheist and authoritarian society. As The Washington Times’ Susan Ferrechio writes, the Democratic National Committee “is planning a nominating process that will ensure that any chance of a Biden or Harris switcheroo will be all but impossible by the time delegates arrive in Chicago.”
However, never underestimate the lows to which the Democrats will stoop to win. And if they do, the policies and puppet masters will remain the same.
