As we’ve all seen, President Biden is incapable of running a snowball stand, let alone the country. All along, there have been handlers behind the curtain providing him cue cards. What will the Democrats do with him for the next five months? He’s more than a lame duck; he is a dead duck.

There is no easy answer. The cast of characters in the administration is not inspiring. The pathetic ability of Vice President Kamala Harris has been clearly revealed since she took office. The Cabinet resembles the gang who couldn’t shoot straight. Our enemies are keenly aware of our vulnerabilities, and we must assume they are determining how best to take advantage. The danger to our country has substantially increased as they lurk in the wings.

Is it time to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, under which the vice president assumes the powers and duties of the office of president, or do we simply try to get by with the status quo? Neither option is optimal or encouraging. In 1959, Charles Lindblom published an article titled “The Science of ’Muddling Through.’” Given the pathetic abilities and lackluster record of Ms. Harris, I suggest we play the cards we have been dealt. So the administration might want to order some copies of the article. God help us.
