It’s may be difficult to clean buffalo wing sauce out of a mustache, but for Saint Peter’s guard and mustache extraordinaire Doug Edert, that’s just a “more money, more problems” situation.
Edert, who has helped lead the Peacocks to two upset wins in the NCAA Tournament while also dazzling facial hair aficionados, announced on Instagram that he’s signed a name, image and likeness deal with restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings.

Saint Peter’s last week became only the third No. 15 seed in NCAA Tournament history to make the Sweet Sixteen after its win over No. 7 Murray State in the second round. That victory came after their stunning upset of No. 2 seed Kentucky in the first round.
Edert, who is averaging 9.7 points per game this season, scored 20 points in the win over the Wildcats and 13 in the triumph over Murray State. During the upsets, Edert’s mustache caught the appreciation of basketball fans.
Doug Edert has become a March Madness folklore star.
