LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in North Las Vegas continued to search Sunday for a woman accused of abducting her infant son.

They said 3-week-old Benjamin Quintero allegedly was abducted at his grandmother’s house by 32-year-old Nyeisha Barrett.

According to police, Barrett lost custody of the child when he was born due narcotic-related reasons.

The baby’s grandmother was granted custody by the state, but Barrett was able to have visitations.

Police said Barrett visited the grandmother Friday night and allegedly left with the infant while the grandmother was distracted.
