BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - An autopsy found a meth overdose was the cause of death for a Butte woman who died in April after being shocked with a stun gun, Butte-Silver Bow County officials said.
Coroner Lori Durkin released the cause of death for Jamie LeAnn Page, 44, on Monday, The Montana Standard reported
Police reports say Page was brandishing a knife and was highly agitated when officers arrived at her apartment on April 26.
Page was walking toward officers with a knife and refused orders to put it down when she was hit with the stun gun. She was taken to the hospital, where she later became unresponsive and died.
