TOWNSHEND, Vt. (AP) - Three men have been arrested in connection with a suspicious fire that destroyed a barn in Townshend last year, Vermont State Police said Wednesday.

Jarod Wilkins, 19, of Winhall, Wyette Lovergine, 20, of Townshend, and Tyzor Greene, 19, of Bennington, are facing charges of second-degree arson and cruelty to animals, police said. Wilkins, Greene and a fourth man, Jakob Wilkins, 21, of Winhall, also have been charged with burglary, police said. They have been cited to appear in court on March 17.

None of them had a listed phone number. It was not immediately known if they are being represented by attorneys.

The barn and its contents, with an estimated value of $100,000, was a total loss, police said.
