BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - An 86-year-old woman riding an electric mobility scooter was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday in Buffalo, police said.

WKBW-TV reported that the vehicle was turning left on a street near downtown around 5 p.m. when the woman was hit.

She was pronounced dead at Erie County Medical Center.



Police said the driver is cooperating and the accident is under investigation.
