SHELDON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a 32-year-old Fairfield man is dead after a single car crash in the town of Sheldon.

Police say the crash on Duffy Hill Road was reported just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The investigation found that a northbound car drive by Tyler Deguise went off the road and came to an uncontrolled rest on its roof on the side of the roadway, facing south. Deguise, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say there is no indication that speed, impairment, or road conditions were factors.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
