ASHBURNHAM, Mass. (AP) - An off-duty firefighter has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Massachusetts.

The Worcester district attorney’s office says the body of a 52-year-old Gardner man was found underneath an ATV in Ashburnham late Saturday.

The man was at a barbecue earlier that day but did not return home. A friend found his body just before midnight.

The Leominster firefighters’ union said in a Facebook post that the victim was Leominster firefighter Randy Pouliot. The union said Pouliot served with the Leominster Fire Department for 16 years and before that served in the Gardner Fire Department.
