MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials say one man was critically injured and another man sustained a less serious wound when they opened fire at each other during an altercation in Marysville.
KOMO-TV reports deputies responded at around 1 p.m. Monday after receiving reports of shots fired, said the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
One man was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The Marysville Fire District says the other man had a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
A preliminary investigation found that the two men know each other and that they fired weapons during an altercation.
