INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities have identified a toddler who was struck and killed by a car outside an Indianapolis home.

The Indianapolis Star reports that the Marion County coroner’s office on Tuesday ruled Giselle Hernandez’s death an accident.

Police had said the 1-year-old girl was in a driveway near the curb when she was hit Sunday evening. The driver didn’t stop. No arrests have been made.



Giselle later died at a hospital. Police initially said she was 21 months old.
