SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - An artist in South Carolina wants to find the thieves who have taken two of his public sculptures.

Cody Roberts has put his Hoondirt art all around Spartanburg.

Roberts told the Herald-Journal that a wire bicycle sculpture was taken from the Mary Black Rail Trail and a multi-colored running man sculpture was taken from Morgan Square this year.

Roberts says he feels part angry and part flattered by the thefts. He mostly wants to get the two sculptures back.

Police say whomever took the sculptures managed to avoid surveillance cameras and they have no new leads at this time.

Roberts says he will keep working on more Hoondirt pieces of art.
