TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a man and a woman have been arrested in more than 20 armed robberies that occurred in convenience stores since January.

A Police Department statement released Thursday says 28-year-old Neville Waugh Jr. and 25-year-old Andrea Carrasco were arrested after detectives linked them to the crimes.

They were booked into jail on dozens of charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.

It’s not clear whether they have defense attorneys who could comment on the allegations.
