WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a homicide in east Wichita.
Police said in a news release Sunday that the 17-year-old victim was found in the back of a residence while officers were responding to a report of a disturbance and gunfire. Emergency responders pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
Police say the suspect is unknown and didn’t immediately release the name of the victim. Anyone with information is urged to call authorities.
