LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles officials say a strip mall heavily damaged by fire had been mostly destroyed by a blaze 15 months ago.

City fire spokesman Brian Humphrey says the fire in Hollywood early Sunday damaged an adjacent apartment building, displacing more than a dozen residents.

One firefighter suffered a non-life-threatening injury to a hip.

It took more than 110 firefighters more than an hour to knock down the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
