OPINION:
Hollywood and entertainment have long been the unacknowledged propaganda arm of the liberal cause, but now it is completely out in the open.
As just reported, the Democratic National Committee and Democratic members of Congress are working hand-in-hand with a Hollywood “Strike Force” to try and win the midterm elections and defeat the hated President Trump in 2020.
The “Strike Force” consists of liberal writers, directors, producers, managers and mega-millionaires.
What is the rest of commonsense and pragmatic America to do?
Fight fire with fire.
Conservative, libertarian and faith-based billionaires have to step-up, be accounted for, and save us all.
To paraphrase Princess Leia’s message to Obi Wan Kenobi in the first Star Wars movie: “This is our most desperate hour. Help us, rational billionaires. You’re our only hope.”
Unhinged liberal actor Robert De Niro screaming “F-Trump” at the Tony Awards and getting a standing ovation punctuates just how far we have fallen.
As I have stressed in the past, over the last five decades plus, liberals and the far-left have taken over almost complete control of the three most critical megaphones of our nation. Those being the media, entertainment and academia.
They have unethically and illegally done so through a systematic use of blacklisting and discrimination. Ironic considering no one complains more about blacklisting and discrimination than the far-left.
Leaving that illicit reality aside, the far-left’s stranglehold on the media, entertainment and academia has torn apart the moral, economic and protective fabric of our nation as they have worked in concert to insert liberal, socialist and politically correct content into every single subset of those arenas they control while brutally censoring conservative and Christian thought and any semblance of the truth.
But this is a battle for the heart and soul of our nation which can be won.
For far too many years, ultra-wealthy conservatives, Christians and libertarians have either sat on the sidelines wringing their hands in dismay at their country being destroyed from within, or spent their multi-millions backing pet candidates, contributing to political action committees, investing in think tanks, endowing worthless universities, or sponsoring civil and political initiatives.
While it may make them feel like they are at least “doing something,” the sad reality is that they have not moved the needle one bit to their side.
All the opposite, in fact.
Instead of investing in causes which only help — and enrich — a few politicians, fund-raisers, and the presidents of think tanks, they need to make themselves that “Man (and woman) in the Arena” of which Teddy Roosevelt spoke so eloquently in 1910.
They need to stop pointing fingers from the stands and jump into the middle of the arena to save what is left of this Republic.
These billionaires need to buy newspapers and television stations. They need to create movie and television studios. And they need to start and fund old-fashioned colleges and universities where students mature into responsible adults while actually learning something of value which will translate to the job market.
They need to do these things not to create conservative or faith-based sites, studios and campuses as corrupt as the liberal ones now in existence. But to rescue the American people from the coming collapse of society.
Someone has to work. Someone has to pay the bills. A sovereign nation must have secure borders. Rule of law must be enforced. A belief in God and the goodness of the Golden Rule is not something to be ridiculed and belittled.
America is rotting from within because the far-left has infected it with a poison.
To those billionaire conservatives, Christians and libertarians, I implore you to stop what you are doing and take a long hard look at what passes for “news” in the mainstream media. Watch the movies Hollywood makes. Study the children’s programming on Disney, Nickelodeon and the Cartoon Network. Observe what is actually taught in our colleges and universities and add up the “micro-aggressions” the entitled and elitist students whine about.
The mainstream media of today has declared open war on a legitimately elected president because he beat their candidate and proved them irrelevant to the American people.
In the Hollywood of today, police, the military, conservatives, Christians and white males are the “enemy.”
Much of the children’s programming on television is vile, full of sexual innuendos and saturated with Social Justice Warrior talking points.
Our colleges and universities are now the retirement homes for liberal tenured professors seeking to indoctrinate the gullible while failing and expelling those who dare to defend liberty.
Fight back by leveling the playing field.
If there are no news sites, studios and colleges to be bought, create them.
Tens of millions of Americans — and millions more from around the world — are desperately waiting. They will flock to them and their content.
You and you alone have the power to effect this change.
Do it and save us all.
