NEW YORK (AP) - The home field of the New York Mets will host a beer festival boasting over 80 breweries and 200 types of beer.
The first annual New York Beer Fest will be held on July 21 at Citi Field in Queens. The event will co-produced by the Mets and tickets are available now, starting at $50.
Promoter Dan Silberstein tells WNBC-TV that officials expect a large turnout and there is hope for the festival to become a yearly event.
There will be food at the event, as well as live music and lawn games.
