BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Security agents at the Bismarck airport have found a gun in carry-on luggage for the second time this year.
Transportation Security Administration agents found the .22-caliber handgun Tuesday morning. The gun was not loaded.
The passenger was traveling from Bismarck to Minneapolis. He could face a fine of up to $9,800.
Airport authorities in March found a loaded handgun in a carry-on bag.
Firearms can be transported on a commercial aircraft only if they are unloaded, packed in a locked, hard-sided case and placed in checked baggage.
