MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire have accused three people of holding a woman against her will in her apartment and assaulting her over the weekend.

Police said they responded to a loud noise complaint at the apartment on Monday morning. A man answered the door, but officers saw a distressed woman inside and spoke with her, the man, and two other women.

The 49-year-old woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The three were charged with kidnapping, and police said more charges were possible. It wasn’t immediately known if they had lawyers.
