BUXTON, Maine (AP) - Police say a Maine woman was distracted and without a valid license when she crashed into the back of a school bus carrying more than 30 students.

The crash happened Thursday morning in Buxton as the bus was taking kids to school.

None of the children were hurt. The driver, 37-year-old Melissa Cilley, of Waterboro, suffered minor injuries.

Police say she’s been charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain control of her vehicle.

The bus sustained minor damage. A second bus picked up the students and took them to school.
