TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A dangerous rip current risk continues along the New Jersey shore.

The National Weather Service says leftover long swells from Maria persist Friday, creating the risk for dangerous rip currents. The risk is expected to subside on Friday night and Saturday.

However, a moderate risk for rip currents is possible next week as low pressure develops.

Swimmers are advised to use caution.
