SOLVAY, N.Y. (AP) - A lockdown has ended at a high school in suburban Syracuse.

Solvay High School was locked down Monday morning after a student threatened to bring a gun into the school.

Authorities ended the lockdown several hours later once the building west of Syracuse was deemed safe and secure.

District officials say classes at the school have resumed.
