RINDGE, N.H. (AP) - Students at Franklin Pierce University will get more opportunities for hands-on learning and possibly future jobs thanks to a new partnership with a grocery supply company.

The new C&S Scholars Program is designed to help students make professional connections, gain hands-on skills and obtain experience with cutting-edge technology. Starting in their freshman year, students will be able to apply for paid internships and co-operatives, and will be considered for full-time jobs after graduation.

C&S Wholesalers, based in Keene, supplies more than 14,000 independent supermarkets, chain stores, military bases and other institutions.
