NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma has signed guard Jamal Bieniemy to a national letter of intent.

The school made the announcement in a news release on Wednesday.

ESPN and 247 Sports rate the combo guard out of Tompkins High School in Katy, Texas a four-star recruit. Both rank him as a top-25 shooting guard in the 2018 class.

Other Houston-area recruits for Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger in recent years include current Sooners Christian James (Houston), Khadeem Lattin (Houston) and Kameron McGusty (Katy).
