HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a 40-year-old Mississippi man sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl.
News outlets report Larry Schouder was arrested Monday and charged with sexual battery and other offenses.
Hattiesburg Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Latosha Myers-Mitchell says the girl told police she had been sexually assaulted by a family member.
Schouder’s relationship to the girl has not been disclosed. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
