PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A parking dispute in a Philadelphia neighborhood ended in a stabbing that left a man critically injured.

Authorities say the victim and another man who knew him started arguing around 12:45 a.m. Sunday after the victim double-parked a vehicle. The argument soon turned physical, and one man used a knife to stab the other twice in the chest.

Two police officers who happened to be nearby heard the victim’s screams and ran to the scene. The victim was then taken to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The alleged stabber was arrested, but authorities have not released his name or said what charges he’s facing. The knife allegedly used in the stabbing was recovered at the scene.
