NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a 29-year-old man has died after he was shot seven times behind a New York City public housing apartment building.
The New York Police Department says Cordell Pittman was hanging out with six other people late Wednesday night behind the city Housing Authority’s Bushwick Houses on Moore Street in Brooklyn when someone opened fire on him.
The Daily News reports (https://nydn.us/2rXPGM3 ) Pittman was hit multiple times in the chest and legs. He died at Kings County Hospital.
Video surveillance recovered by police shows the gunman approach the crowd and open fire.
No arrests have been reported.
